Recipe 1. Salad with spinach, strawberries and walnuts
Ingredients for 3 portions:
- Strawberries – 250 g;
- Walnuts – 6 pieces;
- Spinach – 200 g;
- Olive oil – 3 tablespoons;
- Balsamic vinegar – 2.5 tablespoons;
- Salt – 0.4 of a teaspoon;
- Black ground pepper – 0.8 of a teaspoon;
- Sugar – 1 teaspoon.
How to make:
Place the walnuts in the oven heated to 347 °F for 8-10 minutes.
Mix balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Add olive oil, stirring all with a whisk.
Cut the strawberries into quarters and mix it with spinach leaves.
Add the walnuts lightly baked in the oven and a mixture of balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Mix the salad gently so as not to crush the strawberries.
Recipe 2. Salad with strawberries, walnuts, ruccola and feta cheese
Ingredients:
- 350 g strawberries;
- 300 g of ripe cherry tomatoes;
- 50 g of walnuts fried in a pan or baked in an oven;
- 120 g of feta soft cheese;
- 3 dill sprigs;
- 1 tsp. honey-mustard sauce;
- 2 tbsp. of balsamic vinegar;
- 4 tbsp. of olive oil;
- 300 g of greenery: leaf salat of different varieties and ruccola.
How to make:
Prepare honey and mustard sauce. Mix Dijon mustard and honey in a 1:1 proportion. Mix this sauce with balsamic vinegar and beat with a whisk. While whisking, gradually add olive oil.
Cut or tear with your hands the salat and ruccola leaves. Cut strawberries and tomatoes into halves. Cut the feta cheese into cubes.
Fold all the ingredients into a salad bowl, don’t forget to add walnuts, and gently shake several times so that they mix.
Add the sauce cooked in the first step and stir everything again.
Serve on the table, decorated salad with dill sprigs.
