Berry green smoothie: recipes and few recommendations

For many of us, the smoothie has become as familiar a fast-cooking meal as eggs, oatmeal, or sandwich. Smoothie – it is useful, simple and very tasty. In this article I offer several recipes of berry green smoothies. I”m sure, it will be pleasant to you!

Recipe #1. Berry smoothie with green tea

Components for 2 portions:

  • Frozen cranberry – ½ glass,
  • Frozen blueberries – 1/4 glass,
  • Strawberry – 5 berries,
  • 1 banana,
  • Soybean or almond milk – 1 glass,
  • Green tea ½ glass,
  • Honey – 1 tablespoon (optional).

*According to the season you can take fresh berries.

How to cook?

Put the berries in the blender bowl, add green tea, soy milk and honey.

Beat the cocktail well, cast in glasses, decorate with a mint leaf. And enjoy!

Recipe #2. Smoothie with celery and blueberry

The best way to eat celery is to cook a blueberry smoothie with it.

Components for 2 portions:

  • 2 bananas,
  • 3 tablespoons blueberries,
  • juice of 1/3 lemon,
  • 2-3 stalks of celery,
  • glass of water.

Mix the ingredients in a blender – bright and nutritious smoothie ready!

Recipe #3. Smoothie with avocado, kiwi and berries

Components for 2 portions:

  • 1 glass of water,
  • 1/2 avocado,
  • 1 kiwi,
  • 1 glass of any berries (you can take raspberries, strawberries, blueberries).

Mix all components with a blender until a uniform mass is obtained. Decorate with a leaf of mint or melissa.

Recipe #4. Smoothie with spinach and berries

This recipe is great for breakfast.

Components for 2 portions:

  • Berries (frozen or fresh by season) – 80 g,
  • Spinach – 1 handful,
  • 1 banana,
  • Almond milk -1 cup,
  • Oat flakes – 3 tbsp.

Beat all ingredients in the blender to a state of smoothie.

Recommendations for cooking berry green smoothie:

1. It ‘s better not to use sugar in the smoothie. For sweetness use bananas, dates, honey, maple syrup or sweet fruits, depending on the season – persimmon/peach/melon.

2. Don ‘t add too much water. For the taste and color of the smoothie to be saturated, the consistency of the smoothie must be thick enough.

3. So that the smoothie doesn’t too much sweet, add lemon or lime juice.

4. Use almond milk instead of cow ‘s milk. It is better combined with fruit and greens. And does not create a hard-to-learn combination that will not benefit the body.

5. Uniform texture is the key to success. For smoothies to be truly delicious, it is important to have either a powerful blender or patience.
