A lot of people like baked apples, because it is tasty and healthy. Someone bakes apples with cottage cheese or honey. I’d like to show you spectacular and easy serving at once. Let’s cook baked apples with hibiscus tea. Bright and amazingly delicious hibiscus syrup is perfect with apples in the oven. You must try it!
How to cook baked apples with hibiscus flowers tea?
You need such ingredients:
• 2 apples (big)
• 30 g. dry hibiscus flowers
• ½ orange
• 2 anise stars
• ½ tsp nutmeg (ground)
• 2 sprigs of mint
• 4 spicy cloves
• 60 g sugar
• 400 ml water
Step 1. Place all ingredients in the pan except the apples.
Step 2. Pour boiling water and simmer for 30-40 minutes. Strain the broth through a sieve. Preheat oven to 180 degrees (356 °F).
Step 3. Put the apples in a small baking dish and pour by the sauce. Bake the apples for 20-25 minutes until they become hard enough. If you need soft apples – increase the time by 15 minutes.
Get out the apples and continue to heat the sauce in the oven for another 30 minutes. It should become quite thick and will have the consistency of syrup.
Put the apples on plates and pour the syrup. Dried bread will perfectly complete the dish.
