Homemade diet pumpkin candies

These original candies will like the fans of pumpkin and diet desserts. They will be a wonderful snack between breakfast and lunch. The ingredients in the recipe are not heat treatable, so pumpkin candies retain their nutrients and vitamins.

Ingredients for diet candies:

  • raw pumpkin – 240 g;
  • sunflower seeds peeled – 150 g;
  • oat flakes – 45 g;
  • coconut chips – 35 g;
  • dates – 130 g ;
  • ginger – piece of 1.5 cm;
  • ground cinnamon – ¼ teaspoon.

Cooking useful candies:

Soak sunflower seeds in water for 5-6 hours. Dates can also be soaked for an hour or two. If they are soft, it is enough just to clean them in warm water.

Take the bones out of the dates.

Grate the pumpkin on a large grater, and squeeze the juice. Next, you will need only the flesh.

All products from the list are put into a blender and grind.

If it is difficult to mix the ingredients in the process, pause, and mix the mass with a silicone blade.

In the end, you should get a plastic mass, which will roll well into the ball.

If the mass is too wet, add oatmeal flakes and mix again in a blender. If too dry, add a spoonful of pumpkin juice.

Roll the candies in the balls. Use a measuring spoon to make them the same size.

For decoration, roll pumpkin candies in sesame, coconut chips, or cocoa.
