Vegan apple pancakes

How to cook delicious vegan apple pancakes? In this article I will share with you a simple and useful recipe.

Ingredients for recipe:

  • 450–500 grams of flour
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 500 grams of apples
  • 3 tablespoons of olive-refined oil
  • 350 ml of water
  • 3/4 teaspoon soda
  • Salt at the tip of the knife

Cooking of vegan apple pancakes:

Step 1. Let ‘s start with apples. Thoroughly wash them under running water and use a knife to remove the skin with a thin layer. The washed apples are transferred to the cutting board and cut in half. Then cut the core out of each half. Rubbing fruit on a grate. It should turn out to be a porridge mass that can be transferred to a bowl.

Step 2. Add soda to the apple porridge with a teaspoon and mix the contents until uniform. Leave this mixture for a while so that the soda can react with malic acid.

Step 3. Now we will prepare flour. We install a sieve over the bowl and sprinkle 500 grams of flour. Then we sift the flour to get rid of the lumps, to make the pancakes airy and gentle.

Step 4. We cook the dough for apple pancakes.

After the soda has fully reacted with the apples, add olive oil and sprinkle the necessary amount of sugar. Mix our apple mass carefully. After that we add sifted flour parts, constantly mix to avoid formation of flour lumps. Once all the flour is in the bowl, we start pouring clean water. And we finally mix our apple dough for pancakes. It should be uniform and not very liquid, if necessary, some more flour or water can be added to the dough.

Step 5. Now fry pancakes

We switch the temperature of the stove to the middle level and put the pan on the tip. We pour some olive oil into it and put a clean plate next to the stove. Then with the help of a tablespoon we dial a little dough and put in a heated pan. Depending on the desired size of your pancakes, put in a pan 3 – 4 tortillas. Roast the dough for 2 – 4 minutes from one side to the delicious rumen crust, and then turn the kitchen blade to the other side. We continue to roast the pancakes until fully ready. Once they are completely burned, we put them on a plate and start roasting the next portion.

Step 6. We serve pancakes to the table

The pancakes are served in warm form along with jam or sweet fruit syrup. Freshly squeezed juice or aromatic hot tea will be suitable as a drink. Gentle, air and very tasty apple pancakes are ready. Enjoy your meal!

Useful tips:

  1. To give the apple pancakes a pleasant sweet flavor, you can add a little vanilla extract or vanilla sugar as well as cinnamon to the dough.
  2. Pancakes can be prepared not only from apples but also from pears or pumpkin.
